The United Services Automobile Association and PsychArmor Institute have launched an free online education program for caregivers and families of ill or injured military service members and veterans.
PsychArmor said Tuesday the School for Military and Veteran Caregivers and Families offers various subjects that can be accessed through the Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s HiddenHeroes.org website.
PsychArmor also established a support call center to provide follow-up coaching and counseling services from mental health clinicians.
USAA and PsychArmor coordinate with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and its Hidden Heroes campaign to boost the exposure and dissemination of the online courses, PsychArmor noted.
PsychArmor is a nonprofit organization that provides free education and support to Americans who work with, live with, or care for military veterans.
USAA’s group of companies offers insurance, banking, investments, retirement products and advice to current and former members of the U.S. military and their families.
