NASA has named the winners of the Small Business Industry Awards for fiscal year 2015 at the spring 2016 NASA Industry Forum meeting held Tuesday.
The space agency said Wednesday this year’s awards went to Dynetics, Arcata Associates, Teledyne Brown Engineering and the Hamilton Sundstrand Space Systems International and Mathematical Research Inc. partnership.
NASA holds the SBIA program every fiscal year to recognize the support given by companies under the following categories: small business prime contractor, small business subcontractor and large business prime contractor.
Dynetics’ technical services business received the Agency Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year award for its work to provide enterprise IT services to NASA.
The Agency Small Business Subcontractor of the Year recognition went to Arcata Associates for its operations and maintenance support of NASA’s Dryden Aeronautical Test Range.
Teledyne received the Agency Large Business Prime Contractor of the Year award for the 8,600 hours of science operations work it performed for the International Space Station program office at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
The inaugural Mentor-Protege Agreement of the Year award was given to mentor Hamilton Sundstrand and its protege MRI.
