Jill Bruning, an executive vice president at AECOM, received a gold award in the Female Executive of the Year category at the 2015 Stevie Awards for Women in Business in recognition of her contributions to the business services sector.
She won in the category for female executives who oversee businesses with at least 2,500 employees, AECOM said Wednesday.
“We are proud of her accomplishments, her dedication to mentoring and for earning this prestigious recognition,” said Randy Wotring, president of AECOM’s management services group.
Bruning accepted the recognition during an awards ceremony held on Nov. 13 in New York City.
Bruning also serves as general manager of the intelligence community and services business unit at AECOM and is responsible for mission support, intelligence analysis, technical services and engineering operations.
She currently sits on the Intelligence and National Security Alliance’s board of advisers and is a holder of two energy systems patents.
