George Borgh serves as vice president of strategic alliances and business development at Philips Government Solutions, where he is responsible for the development of a government market presence in the U.S.
Prior to joining Philips Government Solutions in July 2011, he served as VP of marketing and sales at Siemens Government Services from June 2008 to July 2011 and as VP of business development at Siemens AG from June 2006 to June 2008.
Between 2004 and 2006, Borgh co-managed the development of Vonexus Inc., an Internet Protocol communications start-up company.
He previously served as VP of government solutions for Europe, Middle East and Africa region with Avaya and also held roles at AT&T and Lucent Technologies.
Borgh started his career with the U.S. Army as an infantry enlisted soldier and later became a foreign area officer attached to the U.S. Defense Attache’s Office, U.S. Embassy Germany and Civil Military Affairs.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Troy State University and a master’s degree from Indiana University.
