Leah Lackey serves as the communications and marketing director at Exelis‘ information systems division in Herndon, Virginia, where she oversees corporate and executive communications, marketing, public relations and brand positioning.
She is also in charge of the company’s thought leadership, employee engagement, corporate philanthropy and crisis and change management functions such as strategies to address reorganizations, acquisitions and other organizational changes.
Lackey previously held the position of communications manager at Exelis headquarters, where she worked on corporate and product rebranding and communications for U.S. and international programs.
Lackey is part of the team that won the 2012 Golden Worlds Award from the International Public Relations Association for the campaign on the launch of ITT Exelis after its spinoff from ITT Corp.
