Concurrent Technologies Corp. will compete for task orders under the Naval Sea Systems Command’s potential five-year $5.3 billion SeaPort Enhanced contract vehicle.

As one of 914 SeaPort-e awardees, CTC can bid on tasks such as research and development, quality assurance, acquisition logistics and program support and 22 functional service areas are available, the company said Friday.

“The magnitude of this contract is astounding—covering task orders for the majority of the U.S. Navy, NAVSEA Warfare Centers, and the U.S. Marine Corps,” said Ed Sheehan, CTC president and CEO.

According to Sheehan, the company won a position on a SeaPort-e contract incarnation 2005.

The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity SeaPort-e program was started in 2002.
