Joseph Blackburn, a 35-year criminal justice veteran and former Pennsylvania state police official, has joined the advisory board of communications technology provider Mutualink.
He is also a consultant to the International Association of Chiefs of Police and Penn State University, Mutualink announced Tuesday.
“We share a passion for excellence in public safety and security, something that Mutualink values very highly,” said Frank Rodgers, a Mutualink adviser and retired New Jersey state police official.
Other members of Blackburn’s advisory board include:
- Ed Davis, former Boston police commissioner
- Tom Ridge, former homeland security secretary and Pennsylvania governor
- Wesley Clark, a retired Army general
- Barry McCaffrey, a retired Army general
