Bill Thomas, KPMG LLP CEO in Canada, has been appointed chairman of the board of KPMG’s Americas region that includes the U.S., Canada, Central and South America and Israel.
Thomas will continue with his role as chief executive of KPMG’s operations in Canada, the company announced Tuesday.
He will succeed John Veihmeyer, who was promoted to serve as the firm’s global chairman.
Thomas is also a member of the Toronto Board of Trade and the Canadian Council of Chief Executives.
