SAP logoStefan Ries, who held human resources leadership roles at SAP AG between 2002 and 2010, will rejoin the German software conglomerate on April 1 as global head of human resources.

The former Egon Zehnder principal consultant will be in charge of all HR activities at SAP and lead the company’s HR organization, SAP announced Thursday.

Ries will report to Werner Brandt, SAP chief financial officer, human resources and labor relations director and a member of the executive board, until his withdrawal from the board on June 30.

After that date, Ries will report to Bill McDermott, SAP co-CEO and executive board member.
