stewart_alan_smallAlan Stewart serves as chief financial officer at Oceus Networks.

He joined the Reston, Va.-based company after nine years as CFO and senior vice president of ICF International, which grew its annual revenue six-fold during his tenure there.

The 34-year financial and operational veteran led 10 acquisitions during his time at ICF and has completed three initial public offerings, including the 2006 IPO of ICF.

Earlier in his career, Stewart was chief financial officer at Deltek, which says it grew from $14 million in annual revenue to $100 million during his seven years there.

Also, Stewart helped take the company public in 1997 and closed several acquisitions during his tenure.

Earlier, at Tempest Technologies, he was responsible for all aspects of that company’s initial public offering, which spun off from C3.

Stewart has also held senior finance positions at BTG, C3, the Division of Corporation Finance of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Martin Marietta Corporation and Touche Ross & Co.

Stewart is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University.
