Premier has secured a position under the General Services Administration‘s Schedule 70 contract vehicle to offer health information technology products and services to U.S. government customers.
The company said Monday its health IT offerings cover electronic health records, research, health analytics, health informatics, health information exchanges, personal health information management.
Roshni Ghosh, vice president and chief medical information officer of Premier, said the contract will build on the company’s health IT partnerships with federal, state and local government entities.
Premier’s government services team supports efforts to optimize government health system performance and deploy new payment models.
The company’s health IT products include the PremierConnect integrated performance improvement platform that works to support clinical surveillance; clinical, operational and financial analyses; and online learning and networking.
