Saab has inaugurated a development and production center for defense and security technology platforms in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as part of expansion efforts.
The company said Thursday it seeks to market product offerings from the new facility to UAE and international customers.
Saab added the facility will initially manufacture sensor systems and may also produce civil security, training and vehicle protection technologies.
The manufacturing center is located within Abu Dhabi’s Tawazun Industrial Park.
