The Defense Department said Monday the company will work to accommodate evolving Army network software and hardware necessary to be integrated into the AMPV design.

The service branch obligated $4.3 million in fiscal 2017 research, development, test, and evaluation funds at the time of award of the modification.

BAE received a $382.6 million order in 2015 to build five variants of the AMPV platform for the Army as part of the company’s potential $1.2 billion contract for engineering, manufacturing and development services and low-rate initial production work under the program.
