The U.S Air Force has awarded Pelatron Technologies a potential five-year, $22 million contract to support the military branch’s F-16 aircraft-related programs.
Pelatron will provide software, systems and interface design, sustainment and intelligence analyst engineering services for the F-16 systems program office, the Defense Department said Friday.
The company will also conduct ground test and flight test, information assurance and cybersecurity and aircraft integration efforts under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Work will occur at Hill Air Force Base in Utah through Dec. 4, 2021.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center obligated $4.5 million in fiscal 2015 and 2016 operations and maintenance; fiscal 2015 and 2016 Air National Guard procurement; and European participating Air Forces funds at the time of award.
DoD said the contract includes a small portion of foreign military sales.
