Endgame has received an $18.8 million contract to provide an endpoint security platform designed to help the U.S. Air Force detect, track and prevent cyber threats to the service branch’s networks.
The company initially fielded its endpoint detection and response tool to the military branch’s cyber protection teams under a sole-source contract awarded in December 2015, Endgame said Wednesday.
Endgame CEO Nate Fick said the company’s EDR platform works to hunt and identify threat network actors before they can cause loss or damage.
The company developed its EDR platform and methodology to detect cyber threats through collaboration with agencies such as the Defense Department and Intelligence Community.
