The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Veyance Technologies a potential two-year, $77 million contract to produce M1 Abrams track assemblies for the U.S. Army.
The sole-source contract has one base year and one option year and work will occur in Ohio through Dec. 5, 2017, the Defense Department said Monday.
DLA’s land and maritime organization will obligate funds from the Army’s fiscal 2017 working capital budget for the procurement effort.
