Serco has secured a six-year facilities management contract with Dubai Airports to maintain a large portion of Dubai International Airport’s buildings and infrastructure.
Serco said Monday its Middle East subsidiary will manage facilities at terminals 1 and 2 and maintain other cargo and ancillary buildings at the airport.
Joe Boyle, managing director of Serco Middle East’s integrated facilities services sector, said Dubai Airports selected the company after a competitive procurement process.
The contract complements Serco Middle East’s current facilities management projects in the education, energy, healthcare and public sectors.
