Erickson has received a six-month, $29 million extension to a four-year U.S. government sustainment contract to continue both that work and airlift services.
The company said Monday it will continue to provide passenger and cargo airlift services for Fluor and airlift assets and operations supports in Afghanistan.
Erickson has also received a contract from the U.S. Coast Guard and Military Sealift Command for Vertical Replenishment operations.
The company has provided VERTEP services to MSC and the U.S. Navy since 2004.
