The U.S. Air Force has awarded Intelligent Software Solutions a one-year, $12.2 million task order to continue to help the service branch maintain U.S. military software installed worldwide, the Colorado Springs Business Journal reported Thursday.
Amber Baillie writes ISS will also extend its software and maintenance support for the U.S. Central Command, NATO and the Air Force’s Pacific operations.
The contract represents the 18th task order under a contract awarded to ISS in December 2012.
ISS CEO Jay Jesse noted that the company has secured approximately $200 million in funds from the Air Force under the program, according to the report.
The report said Air Force will also use an ISS-provided software development framework to develop intelligence analysis and data fusion platforms.
