The U.S. Army has awarded STG Group a potential $11 million contract to provide information technology support services for the service branch’s civilian information services division.
The 23-month contract covers data management, software engineering, training, quality assurance, system security, software application support, backup and recovery assistance, and software integration services to CISD, the company said Wednesday.
Joe Nicholas, senior vice president and sector lead for cybersecurity and secure information systems at STG, will oversee the delivery of IT services to CISD under the contract.
The award also covers support for CISD’s three data centers and information systems located at more than 100 field sites.
CISD develops and sustains all civilian data systems across the Army.
