Noblis has received a contract from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to perform program and project management support services for the agency’s transformation agenda mandated under five laws by Congress.
The company said Thursday it will carry out program management and system engineering work in an effort to help CMS comply with the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015, the Affordable Care Act of 2010, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 that includes the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, and the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003.
Liz Avila, Noblis’ health and human services account leader, said the company also aims to help CMS lay out standards for how the agency can approach future program implementations.
Don Schaefer, Noblis vice president for enterprise engineering, environment and health solutions, noted the Noblis-CMS partnership history since 2012 includes implementation work on HITECH, Healthcare.gov and ICD-10.
