The Interior Department’s Fish and Wildlife Service plans to release a solicitation for proposals on June 17 for a potential $10 million blanket purchase agreement the agency will use to procure network remote access systems and services.
FWS said in a notice posted Wednesday on FedbizOpps the five-year BPA will also cover maintenance and updates of rack systems and other hardware components as well as helpdesk support to approximately 10,000 users within FWS.
The agency will oversee the data centers and network operations within DOI’s security boundary.
The potential vendor could also provide remote access devices and services to other bureaus and agencies within DOI under the BPA’s next phase of implementation, FWS said in the notice.
The agency said it will accept proposals within 30 days following the release of the solicitation, according to the notice.
