ID.me has teamed up with Salesforce to manage and assess the eligibility of applicants that look to utilize the latter company’s veteran employment program.
VetForce provides free access to IT and business certification courses for members of the military community and works to match transitioning veterans with job positions that fit their respective skill sets and qualifications, Salesforce said Tuesday.
Samuel Allen, Salesforce’s vice president of mergers and acquisitions, said the company is one of at least 50 other technology businesses that aim to train close to 60,000 veterans and military spouses and hire more than 110,000 from both groups by 2021.
Allen added his company will give free Salesforce training to 35,000 veterans, military spouses and transitioning service members over the next five years.
Salesforce said ID.me’s verification technology aids companies in their services to specific groups via digital channels and address fraud-related risks through an implemented “PayPal for Identity” style approach.
