Jacobs Engineering Group will provide engineering, technical, administrative and professional support services for the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Lower Piedmont region under a three-year contract.
The company said Tuesday the contract covers bridge and roadway design, utility coordination, environmental support and traffic engineering services for the region’s districts 2, 3 and 7.
Randy Pierce, senior vice president of buildings and infrastructure at Jacobs, said the company will work with GDOT to help improve the state’s transportation infrastructure.
