The U.S. Air Force has issued a solicitation for white papers on capabilities that support state-driven assessments of the service branch’s distributed adaptive planning and operations under a $9.9 million funding opportunity.
A broad agency announcement posted Dec. 23 on FedBizOpps stated that the capability aims to build on periods of reduced communications between forward and operational nodes.
The solicitation is part of the Air Force’s Distributed Operations program.
According to the BAA, the DistrO program will provide a funding opportunity for the planning and assessment technology development and the distributed integration and experimentation focus areas from fiscal year 2016 to 2019.
The BAA will close at the end of September 2019.
