The General Services Administration’s 18F has released a new contract to solicit bids from industry as part of its open-source micro-purchasing experiment.
David Zvenyach, 18F’s acquisition management director, wrote in a blog post published Monday that 18F has tagged a micro-purchase product from its product backlog for the contract award labor category.
Initial bid for the issue is $3,499 and 18F seeks lower bids from companies.
18F intends for the issue to load the Schedule 70 data provided into the database.
The digital service will accept either a new Django management command or a modification to the current command, and requires a B or better rating from code climate for the file.
Submissions for the new issue end on Oct. 29.
