Hughes Network Systems has received a potential five-year, $700,000 contract to provide managed Internet connections, Wi-Fi services and digital media platforms for the Florida Army National Guard.
The company said Monday it will deliver the HughesON suite offerings to 65 National Guard installations across the state through its broadband satellite network.
Tony Bardo, assistant vice president for government solutions at Hughes, said the contract seeks to update the personnel-facing services of Florida’s military reserve force.
The contract also covers broadband circuit and Wi-Fi access points installation, network monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, on-site maintenance and other technical support services.
