The U.S. Postal Service has awarded TWD & Associates a potential five-year, $3 million contract to help operate and maintain a technology platform that facilitates video conferences at 40 USPS facilities nationwide.
The company said Tuesday it will also manage on-demand video call services as well as update video conferencing system equipment and software for the agency.
“TWD’s support of the USPS VCS will enable the agency to make better use of its existing platform while setting a path forward for future infrastructure upgrades and requirements,” said TWD President and CEO Larry Besterman.
USPS also asked the company to provide round-the-clock staffing services at a VCS network operating center.
The contract contains a two-year base performance period and three option years.
