Highlight Technologies announced that it has earned the “Awardable” status on the Department of Defense’s Platform One Solutions Marketplace.
The secure application development and cloud-native infrastructure services company said Wednesday the designation enables government agencies to easily access and adopt its Asset Tracking and License Acquisition for Software, or ATLAS, technology.
What Is ATLAS?
ATLAS is a system designed to assist government agencies in managing their software assets and licenses by removing request confusion and streamlining the software procurement process. It also identifies underused software licenses and integrates security into the process. In addition, ATLAS provides a 360-degree visibility into the assets.
The “Awardable” status enables government customers to view the ATLAS video customers on the P1 Solutions Marketplace, a digital library where 5-minute post-competition pitch videos are stored.
“As the government continues to identify efficiencies, Highlight is excited to offer ATLAS as a key solution that identifies opportunities to find significant cost savings without impacting mission,” said Aarish Gokaldas, CEO of Highlight.
“By identifying multiple instances of software procurements, ATLAS provides the federal government the leverage it needs to negotiate enterprise-wide licenses, discontinue unnecessary licenses, and streamline its overall procurement lifecycle,” he added.
