Wiz has incorporated data security posture management into its cloud security solution, Wiz for Government, which has secured moderate authorization from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
With DSPM, which continuously monitors an organization’s data security policies and procedures to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks in real time, highly regulated customers and government agencies could protect sensitive information in multicloud environments, Wiz said Friday.
Managing AI Adoption Risks
The company highlighted the capability of DSPM to automate the discovery and classification of sensitive information to achieve data visibility needed to identify the identities, applications and services with access to data in cloud environments and the data sets artificial intelligence models are using during AI adoption processes to mitigate data exfiltration risks while accelerating innovation. The data management tool is designed to automatically detect sensitive training data and identify risks of data leakage with proactive risk remediation guidance.
Cyber-Secure Cloud Environments
According to Wiz, DSPM is also built to combat cyberattacks by informing security teams how an adversary might attempt to access sensitive data to immediately address vulnerabilities and reduce their attack surface and help organizations ensure compliance with various data protection regulations.
