Sidus Space Recruits Former Blue Origin Exec Patrick Butler as Mission Operations SVP - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Sidus Space has named Patrick Butler as its senior vice president of mission operations and product line management. Butler announced his new role at the aerospace company on LinkedIn.

Career at Blue Origin

Before joining Sidus Space, Butler was part of Blue Origin, where he most recently served as launch execution director. In this capacity, Butler led the launching of the company’s New Glenn rocket. In his over five-year stint at Blue Origin, Butler also held the role of integrated supply chain senior manager overseeing all procurement for the company’s orbital launch site and manufacturing facilities in Florida.

Career at U.S. Marine Corps

The new Sidus Space mission operations VP had a stint of more than 10 years in the Marine Corps, where he served last as operations director of Marine Corps Base Hawaii. His experience in the Corps mostly involved serving as UH-1Y helicopter pilot/weapons and tactics instructor and pilot/air mission commander.
