James Combs announced on LinkedIn Saturday that he has been named the new vice president of enterprise technology solutions & services at Interactive Process Technology Associates.
Who Is James Combs?
Combs is a federal IT executive with over three decades of experience in strategic planning, business growth, optimized technology team creation and employee skills development programs.
The executive joined IPTA in 2023 and served as regional VP before his recent promotion. Combs was responsible for a team of 200 professionals tasked with overseeing IPTA’s newly established southeast business unit. He managed prime contracts, including a $400 million contract under the Veterans Technology Services 2 government-wide acquisition contract to deliver enterprise technology support services to the U.S. Army Futures Command Combat Capability Development Command Aviation and Missile Center, or DEVCOM AvMC.
Prior to IPTA, Combs spent over 30 years at COLSA, most recently as VP of enterprise information services. He was responsible for overseeing customers and programs with over $100 million in annual revenue.
