CGI Federal, in partnership with TrackLight, has unveiled the Fraud, Waste and Abuse Prevention Platform, a tool meant to help U.S. federal agencies detect and stop improper payments before they happen by using real-time risk detection, artificial intelligence and integration with financial systems.
The platform uses TrackLight’s AI technology and open-source intelligence as well as Amazon Web Services’ infrastructure, CGI Federal said Monday.
About the FWA Prevention Platform
Running on AWS, the platform works to monitor transactions using advanced fraud analytics and predictive models based on a library of over 3,000 fraud schemes.
CGI Federal President Stephanie Mango, a four-time Wash100 winner, said the platform’s features “not only reduce financial loss, but also help agencies enhance public trust, support regulatory compliance and improve mission outcomes and service delivery.”
The platform is currently available for clients using CGI’s Momentum platform, with plans to support other major financial systems in the future.
