Artificial intelligence tech provider Socure has secured a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program moderate authorization for its Socure For Government, or SocureGov, platform.
With the FedRAMP certification, government agencies can access advanced digital identity proofing and fraud prevention capabilities to deliver a secure verification process for the American public, Socure said Thursday. The platform’s AI tools enable customers to address identity fraud and improper payments while delivering security and service at scale.
Identity and Fraud Prevention Tech
SocureGov’s FedRAMP authorization highlights the company’s commitment to using innovative identity verification technology to protect the United States and eliminate taxpayer fraud losses, according to Jordan Burris, head of public sector at Socure. “We stand at a defining moment in identity and fraud prevention—an inflection point where complacency is no longer an option. The adversaries are advancing, but so are we,” he explained.
Enhancing Government’s Online Services
SocureGov allows public sector agencies to auto-approve more eligible individuals, prevent more fraudulent activities, reduce manual reviews and unnecessary video referee costs, and fully automate their document verification predictive analytics platform. It employs AI and machine learning techniques to analyze an individual’s digital identity and verify identities and bank accounts in real time while preventing fraud. The system supports federal agencies’ mission to combat fraud and improve the delivery of online services.
