Leidos announced a partnership with SeeTrue, combining its Trusted AI Mission approach with the artificial intelligence software company’s advanced algorithms to improve airport security efficiency and customs screenings, and detect prohibited items through AI-enabled algorithms.
In a press release Tuesday, Michael Van Gelder, senior vice president of security enterprise solutions at Leidos, said, “SeeTrue is an industry leader in threat detection algorithms, and we are excited to join forces with them. Through this smart collaboration, we are further demonstrating our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that provide advanced levels of threat detection for our customers.”
Leidos aims to accelerate algorithm development to meet evolving customer needs. In this partnership, the provider of scientific, engineering, systems integration and technical services will integrate third-party threat detection algorithms. Leidos’ ClearScan CT scanner, whose focus areas are currency and narcotics detection, will soon be deployed in the market.
