Fred Maier, a 20-year veteran of the information technology industry, has been elevated to vice president of growth, state and local at DMI.
The digital services and information technology services provider said Saturday Maier will oversee the company’s expansion across state and local agencies, focusing on fostering partnerships.
Fred Maier’s Career Highlights
Maier is a seasoned IT sales executive with a history of achievement in driving business growth, customer relations and managing resources. He has experience in talent acquisition, managed services, strategic partnerships, fixed price contracting and software development lifecycle.
The new DMI VP also has a proven track record in selling software services, project management process improvement, helping banks during the Y2K transition and guiding federal agencies and system integrators to obtain Capability Maturity Model Integration, or CMMI, compliance.
Before his promotion, Maier served as a senior client partner for state and local. He held the associate VP position since joining the company in 2009, helping grow the business in the public sector by managing accounts and maintaining partnerships.
The DMI executive spent over a decade serving in various account manager roles at Compuware, TestPros and pragma Systems. He started his career as a sales representative at Compuware and McCabe Software.
