Oracle has introduced the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Core Landing Zone automation template along with documentation specific to the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program to help contractors more easily comply with program requirements when using Oracle Cloud.
The company said Thursday that the tools streamline the compliance process for small and medium-sized businesses by automating the mapping of security controls and creating prebuilt cloud architectures.
The OCI Core Landing Zone includes baseline configurations and rules delivered through a standardized template, allowing users to deploy preconfigured cloud-based services. Users answer a few simple questions to quickly set up a compliant architecture.
CMMC ensures defense contractors implement protective measures for sensitive federal information. In October 2024, contractors were mandated to comply with its various certification levels.
