Matthew Fitzpatrick, a seasoned technology innovator and leader, has been selected as the new CEO of Invisible Technologies.
The artificial intelligence training and operations company said Tuesday Fitzpatrick, who succeeds Benjamin Plummer in the leadership role, brings valuable experience in AI and software development that will be instrumental in driving Invisible’s growth. He will oversee the company’s AI Process Platform and other enterprise offerings.
Matthew Fitzpatrick Career Summary
Fitzpatrick spent 12 years as senior partner and global leader of McKinsey & Company’s artificial intelligence arm, QuantumBlack Labs, and head of financial services digital and technology solutions. He initially worked at McKinsey as a business analyst from 2006 to 2008 before rejoining the company in 2012.
The executive led a team of more than 1,000 engineers and product leaders responsible for the development of products that enabled customers to bridge the gap between AI-driven project concepts and real-world business applications. He managed McKinsey’s portfolio of machine learning products, generative AI offerings, horizontal ecosystem tools and financial-services technology assets.
Francis Pedraza, Invisible founder and executive chairman, described Fitzpatrick as a business and technical visionary who knows how to transition pilot programs to scalable applications.
“Matt’s experience turning early-stage innovation into real-world results will give customers a competitive edge and be a catalyst for change and growth within our company,” stated Pedraza.
“Invisible is at the epicenter of AI, with vast experience at the intersection of enterprise AI deployment and data training for the world’s largest hyperscalers — this is a rare opportunity to lead a company with this caliber of DNA,” said Fitzpatrick.
