Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has received a $92.7 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to provide engineering services for the Australian, Japanese and South Korean governments.
Navy Agreement Details
The Department of Defense said Tuesday that the agreement covers engineering, software development, maintenance, integration, logistics and fielding services for the three countries’ naval forces. Lockheed will support the modernization and development of new combat systems to be used by ships operating the AEGIS combat system.
The company will perform the contract’s work requirements in its Moorestown, New Jersey facility. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
The Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., will obligate $30.3 million at the time of the award. The initial payments will come from the three nations’ foreign military sales funds, which will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Lockheed Martin booked the new Navy deal after securing a $3.4 billion contract from the naval service in December 2024 to provide F-35 logistics support services for domestic and international military customers.
