Kimberly Durfee has joined Elbit Systems of America to serve as senior vice president of operations at the aerospace and defense company, the executive announced in a LinkedIn post published Sunday.
Durfee previously spent a combined 13 years working for L3Harris Technologies and the former Harris company, which merged with L3 Technologies in 2019 to form the latter.
At L3Harris, Durfee served as director of operations for intel and cyber for nearly two years before being promoted to her most recent role as senior director of operations for airborne combat systems.
Other Career Highlights
The executive has over two decades of industry experience. Durfee kicked off her career at the former Rockwell Collins company as industrial engineer and production manager.
Her responsibilities there included analyzing new product designs and ensuring designs meet workmanship standards, utilizing Six Sigma and statistical data analysis with tools and managing several product cells and support teams.
Durfee also worked at DynCorp International as Lean Sigma Six process improvement manager and at Piper Aircraft as senior industrial engineer.
