The defense solutions division of Curtiss-Wright has launched its latest PacStar 400-Series tactical communications module to support the Department of Defense’s Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiatives for data sharing in diverse environments.
Powered by Fairwinds Technologies’ HybridComm platform, the PacStar 465 delivers network transport diversity to enable secure and reliable communication across trusted military systems and untrusted commercial or foreign-controlled networks, Curtiss-Wright said Tuesday.
PacStar 465 specifically employs automatic primary, alternate, contingency emergency-based transport diversity for military and intelligence use.
The module can securely share sensitive data by embedding it within native wireless traffic and operate independently of cloud management platforms. It also offers user-controlled global navigation satellite system capabilities.
