CRDF Global and SecDev have rolled out the Cyber Exercises and Experiential Education, or CE3, program, an initiative financed by the State Department’s Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy designed to enhance cybersecurity in frontline states.

Under the CE3 program, CRDF Global said Wednesday that participants will face simulated cyber threats like ransomware and misinformation, blending technical skills with policy decisions to mimic real-world crises.

The program encourages collaboration across sectors and borders by involving youth, private industry and government officials.

Commenting on the partnership, Mike Dignam, CEO of CRDF Global, said, “CE3 builds on the decades of CRDF Global programming in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, while leveraging the power of innovation and our unique partnership with SecDev.”

“By combining policy expertise and technical training in highly immersive scenarios, we’re preparing countries to face the chaos and uncertainty of real cyber events—and succeed,” Dignam added.
