Amazon Web Services and Booz Allen Hamilton are collaborating to develop capabilities that would help federal customers drive innovation, accelerate decision-making, cut down costs and scale advanced technologies for intelligence, defense, civil and commercial missions.
The strategic partnership will enable federal agencies to enhance national security using artificial intelligence, deter cyberattacks with zero-trust tools and deploy cloud services to remote environments, Booz Allen said Friday. The companies’ offerings will facilitate IT modernization efforts and speed up scientific discovery through high-performance computing.
Force Multiplier for Government Customers
According to Dave Levy, vice president of worldwide public sector at AWS, the partnership with Booz Allen will deliver advanced technologies via the AWS Marketplace and meet government customers’ demand for capabilities that improve operations, boost efficiencies, enhance security and reduce costs. “This collaboration represents a force multiplier for government customers and will empower increased scalability, flexibility, security, and resilience in support of their critical missions,” explained the five-time Wash100 Award winner.
“Through this expanded partnership with AWS, we are able to jointly create, invest in, and scale solutions in new ways to transform missions, drive efficiencies, and accelerate outcomes through technology,” Booz Allen Chief Technology Officer Bill Vass added.
Accelerating Government’s Digital Transformation
Under the partnership, the two companies will develop technologies that combine Booz Allen’s technical expertise with AWS’ advanced cloud services. Through the collaborative effort, federal customers can advance their migration efforts for operational efficiencies and accelerate their digital transformation journey.
