Aretum has secured a position on the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which streamlines support service procurement for the Navy.
The Bethesda, Maryland-based company said Thursday it will be able to provide engineering and program management services to key Navy commands, including the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command, Naval Sea Systems Command and its subordinate Naval Surface Warfare Centers.
Additionally, Aretum will be able to support the Navy’s efforts in areas such as communication systems, munitions research and development and submarine technologies.
Rohit Gupta, CEO of and operating partner at Aretum, commented, “This marks an important step in expanding our presence within the defense sector and bringing our expertise in emerging technologies to the Navy and Marine Corps.”
Earlier this month, the Navy awarded 1,023 companies positions on the SeaPort NxG contract as part of the procurement vehicle’s second rolling admissions.
