The Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office has determined the engineering services and technology solutions of the Alexandria, Virginia-based company Modern Technology Solutions Inc. as “awardable” post-competition under the Department of Defense’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.
The company’s offerings to government customers are designed to deliver problem-solving capabilities in critical global missions, including missile defense, cybersecurity, intelligence and homeland security, MTSI said Monday.
Its portfolio of tools and services was selected from among competitive Tradewinds applicants, the company added.
Fast-Tracked Customer Access
Kevin Robinson, MTSI president and CEO, described the company’s Tradewinds awardable status as a “rapid way” for government customers to access high-end technical services. “This enables our current and future customers to more quickly reach out to us so that we can help support their critical missions including AI/ML, digital transformation, cybersecurity of complex systems, modeling and simulation of advanced kill chains, and a host of other areas,” he said.
In August, the Missile Defense Agency awarded MTSI a $73.6 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide a digital engineering ecosystem for testing and assessing missile defeat kill webs, or MDKWs. The deal calls for MTSI to build and deploy the required experimentation and evaluation platform to accelerate the MDKW’s transition into usable technology, the DOD said.
