Gunnison Consulting Group has received a 7.5-year, $27 million subcontract to provide Imagine Believe Realize with critical development and cloud services in support of IBR’s U.S. Geographic Update Partnership Software IV contract award by the U.S. Census Bureau.

The subcontractor said Friday it will work with IBR on designing, developing and testing GUPS applications to support the bureau’s various 2030 census programs and other surveys through September 2031.

The contract includes a one-year base period, six one-year options, and a six-month extension.

Under GUPS IV, IBR was tasked to enhance the software used to load, edit and display geospatial data and generate output files that will be used to update the bureau’s geographic database.

The digital modernization effort aims to improve data accuracy and scalability for the agency’s long-term needs.
