For over a decade, the Wash100 Award has cemented itself as the highest honor in government contracting. On an annual basis, it has recognized the most significant contributors to the market’s success, from both the public and private sector sides of the GovCon dynamic. The lists have included ambitious CEOs, decorated generals, innovative technologists and secret MVPs. Winners set new benchmarks for qualities of leadership, achievement, vision, innovation and reliability within the industry.
Recipients of the Wash100 Award are announced in the third week of January. To reach a final list, the senior leadership of Executive Mosaic—GovCon’s foremost events, networking and media company—deliberates for months and reviews thousands of candidates. But our search is not complete without input from our audience and the greater GovCon community. Nominations are now open for the 2025 Wash100 season! Visit Wash100.com to cast a vote for individuals you believe are playing an instrumental role in shaping the direction of the industry.
“At Executive Mosaic, we’re setting the stage for an exhilarating year of unparalleled Wash100 recognition, excellence and prestige,” issued Jim Garrettson, Executive Mosaic CEO and Wash100 Award founder. “The coming year promises to be a period of significant transformation, with major leadership shifts, cutting-edge technologies and emerging trends shaping the GovCon space. As the new movers and shakers begin to emerge, the Wash100 will serve as a reliable beacon for identifying and honoring the true innovators and leaders of 2025.”
“I’m thrilled to invite our GovCon community to nominate those leaders who are redefining the federal landscape through their vision and impact. Now is your chance to make your voice heard!” Garrettson said.
Wash100 Process and Timeline
Nominations from the public are open from now until Jan. 10. Every year, submissions increase, so make sure your nominees are exemplary stand-outs. Afterward, EM leadership will make final deliberations and the winners list will be announced on Jan. 23.
Once winners are out, several months of fun begins: a profile of each winner, released daily, is published to the Wash100 website (previously hosted on EM’s media properties like this one); Garrettson hand-delivers the award to every honoree; and, of course, a popular vote contest is held on Wash100.com to determine the audience favorite among the year’s 100 winners.

Wash100 History
The Wash100 was founded in 2014 by Garrettson and has grown in legacy and impact with each passing year. The aim of Executive Mosaic (founded in 2002) is to serve those who serve the mission, and the Wash100 sprung forth from this goal: honoring the best and brightest in the field gives the GovCon industry a standard of excellence to aspire to and a public-facing mantle to be proud of.
