Splunk‘s Security Orchestration, Automation and Response offering has received moderate impact level certification from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
Bill Rowan, vice president of public sector at Splunk, wrote in a blog post published Tuesday the certification enables U.S. government agencies to quickly deploy Splunk SOAR, which allows secure, reliable and streamlined incident management and response orchestration of workflows.
Rowan, a four-time Wash100 awardee, noted that FedRAMP authorization is crucial for organizations providing cloud services to agencies to demonstrate high cybersecurity compliance with the process undergoing a rigorous third-party assessment.
Aside from SOAR, Splunk achieved a moderate StateRAMP authorization for the Splunk Cloud Platform in June 2023 as well as an impact level 5 certification for the platform in August 2022.
