Splunk announced that its Splunk Cloud Platform has attained high authorization under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
In a press release Wednesday, Bill Rowan, vice president of public sector at Splunk, said, “Obtaining FedRAMP High authorization was a significant milestone for our organization as it demonstrates our unwavering dedication to the highest standards of security in the federal space.”
Rowan, a Wash100 awardee, added that the accomplishment reinforces Splunk’s position with public sector customers and strengthens its contributions to cybersecurity. With the FedRAMP High authorization, federal agencies and their partners can now leverage the Splunk Cloud Platform to manage the government’s sensitive data and boost security posture.
Public sector organizations globally, including all three branches of the U.S. government and 15 cabinet-level departments, use Splunk Cloud Platform to enhance their digital resilience and cybersecurity efforts.
Prior to this milestone, Splunk’s Security Orchestration, Automation and Response offering received FedRAMP Moderate Impact Level certification last month.
