James Norris recently announced on LinkedIn that he has been named president of the cyber, communication and digital transformation technology provider Sabre Systems.
Norris has been with the company since 2005, initially taking on the role of executive director and later being appointed vice president of corporate strategy, group vice president for the federal civilian and Department of Defense sector and, most recently, vice president of business development.
As business development VP, Norris handled the development and implementation of plans and strategies that would help the company identify and capture new markets and business opportunities.
Apart from business development, the new Sabre Systems president’s areas of expertise include strategic planning, program management and operational leadership.
Norris earned his bachelor’s degree from Towson University and his master’s degree from Florida Institute of Technology.
